Around three kilometres upstream of Jukkasjärvi is our largest camp, with space for around 50 dining guests, divided between three timber cabins. It is ideal for short-term arrangements that focus on wilderness cuisine.
The camp is easy to reach by riverboat, canoe or a short hike in summertime. You travel to the camp by snowmobile, cross-country skis or a short walk by snow shoes (approx. 25 min) in the winter.
The camp can easily be extended with Sami tents to accommodate just over 100 dining guests at a time. Kuossanjarga wilderness camp is best suited to short events based around a wilderness meal. There are opportunities for fishing and other activities right next to the camp.
Paddling and shorter safari excursions to study the flora, fauna, birdlife and midnight sun can also be arranged.
