For the first time in history you can experience the sensation of ICEHOTEL even during summer. The world’s first and largest hotel built of snow and ice, will have a little sister in the summer of 2012. On the 8th of June a smaller version of the hotel opens; 120 square meters and will hold three art suites, an ICEBAR by ICEHOTEL and place for guests to try ice sculpting.
The summer season starts on June 8 and lasts until August 18. During this period you can stay in minus degrees, visit ICEBAR JUKKASJÄRVI by ICEHOTEL and our Ice factory, ICEHOTEL Productions, where next year’s ICEHOTEL awaits in form of huge blocks of crystal-clear ice.
We also arrange activities both day and night time – under the midnight sun. We will stay open during midnight between June 24 and July 31.
