Inspired by her own wedding at ICEHOTEL in Sweden Justine explains:
“It was all about the coat for me and I wanted one to match the sheer beauty of the Ice Church ‘Noorder Kirk’ which was some tall order! It was an immense struggle sifting through the masses of boleros and capes to find something unique”.
Justine has named each design after ladies associated with the ICEHOTEL and even the collection is christened ‘Kiruna’ after the city nearby Jukkasjärvi.
The designs each create a unique and fascinating impression, ranging from dreamy and romantic to edgy and futuristic. The beautiful fabrics and lines of the coats are complemented by elegant detailing, ensuring each coat is an inviting creation in itself.
The coats, which are all crafted from quality silks and made in the UK, offer exciting new choices for brides. With lighter designs for spring and summer weddings, the fur trimmed and hooded options combine warmth with chic styling to create a fabulous effect without leaving the winter bride shivering.
"The natural fabrics I've selected are all of the finest quality, cut with simple lines to capture their inherent elegance and allowing each individual design to really stand out." Justine comments.
Justine is a 37 year old designer from Bolton, Lancashire UK. Although the Justine Horrocks Bridal Coats range is her first venture in bridalwear, she has experienced strong design and tailoring influences throughout her life.
Justine is exhibiting at the British Bridal Exhibition Harrogate 14-16 March 2010 stand M1 where the ‘Justine Horrocks Bridal Coats’ premiere range is available to retailers.
