Let’s face it; the climate in Northern Sweden is extreme! Extreme light in the summer, extreme cold and darkness in the winter. Each winter one is treated to pink skies in the morning that turn red right before they become blue; a blue that gradually deepens to midnight blue. Sounds luxurious, doesn’t it. ‘The red and blue hours’ is ICEHOTEL’s Luxury suite this year. The unique lights will be on a timer. Anders Rönnlund who is from Uppsala specializes in video installations, graphic art and public art. His work has been shown throughout Europe, in Russia and in Argentina. Anders is also an ICEBAR builder. His works titled OPPRESSION was recently exhibited at the Uppsala Art Museum.
