"Ur Isen" is a step into the next ice age, where organic and man-made items are frozen in time until they one day melt free: our symbols, our choices, ourselves.
Kristina Jansson is an artist from Östhammar who showcases her creativitiy within the fields of oil painting, illustration, photography, and as a sculptor of bronze, concrete ans snow. Gudrun Westerlund lives in Uppsala and works primarly as a painter, but has also participated in land art projects in Sweden and abroad. "Ur Isen" is Gudrun’s second ICEHOTEL suite, Kristina’s first.
